Step-by-Step Pressing Instructions
- Position the patch. Confirm placement, orientation and garment compatibility before heating.
- Protect the garment. Use the recommended cover sheet or protective layer and avoid direct contact with sensitive surfaces.
- Apply heat and pressure. Use the settings supplied for the specific patch backing and garment. Do not assume one temperature fits every material.
- Allow proper cooling. Follow the specified peel and cooling method before handling the bond.
- Inspect the edges. If the patch is not fully bonded, stop and correct the process before production continues.
Additional Details
Thicker fabrics: Heavy garments may require different pressure, dwell time, or access to the reverse side.
Headwear: Hats and structured panels require equipment and pressure that match the curved surface.
Washing: Wait until the adhesive has fully cooled and settled. Follow garment and patch care guidance.
